[mso] Re: Excel Web Form Wizard Missing?

I'm not real good with network stuff either, Cathy, so I can't help you.
But it sounds like Microsoft's SharePoint is going to give you exactly what
you want. Being a part of the Office 2007 beta team, Microsoft just gave me
a webspace to test Sharepoint and man, is it ever cool....tho I'm stumbling
around in there at this point, just trying how to configure it all....I need
a week just to read the Help files from cover to cover LOL

But, let's hope someone in here has some ideas for you that will work NOW.
Good luck.

Good question, Linda, that's one I've been struggling with for a long time.
The excel worksheet is what the remote users are currently using and right
now I don't have a way to move them to anything else that is connected via
a web server or anything like that. So my plan B was to just create an
access form that would grab the fields from the excel forms when they were
submitted. I was intrigued by the Web Wizard idea and wanted to see if it
had any options that might help. Without a web server - the company has
many, but there are layers and layers of limitations with IT as to who can
actually publish to them without adding lots of extra cost and layers of
people. So we have learned to handle it ourselves with imports/appends
wherever we can grab the data.
