[mso] Re: Excel Validation Copying

Highlight K2:K7165 and go to Data>Validation....Excel will give you a
message saying some of those cells don't have the validation you set in K2
and do you want to extend the validation to those cells...click Yes

It won't change what's in there, but it will add the dropdowns to all the
cells.

Please assume in column K I have the values 1 through 12, and "??". Also 
assume that cells K2 through K7165 contain such values.

Also assume:
Cell K2 = 2
Cell K3=  9
Cell K4= 12
Cell K5= 6


In Cell K2, I made a validation drop down list that will make the user 
choose a value of 1 through 12 or "??".  It did not change the current 
value of that cell, just made a drop down validation list for it.

Can I copy that validation drop down list WITHOUT changing the value of the 
cells below K2? When I tried "copy formula" and paste to Cells K3 on down 
to K7165 without changing the current values of those cells? Possible? It 
would save quite a bit of re-entering.
