[mso] Re: Excel The Incredible Shrinking Button Text

To #1, No change to zoom at all. The code simply looks a cell value and
hides/displays the row through a range.
To #2, Yes mainly to this file. I don't have many other sheets with
buttons.
        Some additional information:
I work from home sometimes through terminal server. Connect to
Server from home, from server to my Admin workstation. While working on the
sheet from home this morning I clicked on one of the buttons (not in design
mode) The button started expanding with each click. (There were changes in
the sizes in properties). When I got to work this morning and returned the
button to the correct size, when I clicked on it the text started shrinking
again. I can get the text "right" again by dragging the button big then
resizing to the correct size. So, I'm wondering if this isnt some kind of
terminal server weirdness. Since I haven't been closing the workbook while
working on it from home, maybe terminal server is triggering some minor
fault. I'll try completely closing the workbook and reloading, if that
doesn't work I'll see what a restart does. I have'nt put it into user hands
yet.

I don't know (yet) what's causing your problem, but I have a couple of
questions:

  1) Is the code run by any of the buttons changing the Zoom factor in your
Excel session?

  2) Is the problem replicable? Does it happen if you load the file on other
computers and click the buttons? Does it always happen with this file?

I have an Excel sheet with numerous buttons. Most with just plain caption
text and some with a picture (.gif / Left Arrow and Right Arrow). Earlier
today while testing and repeated clicks of the buttons the Text and the Gifs
started shrinking in size. The more I clicked the tinier things got. In
properties I checked settings and nothing had changed. I'm using a standard
Arial Font size 7. There is no special formating on the button through VB
(yet), just what's in properties. I can't seem to get the fonts and gifs to
come back to their original states. I've closed and restarted Excel and
while clicking the buttons hasn't caused them to shrink more, the ones that
did shrink have remained shrunken, and won't return to the same size font on
a button displayed next to it with exactly the same setting.

Google was not helpful. The version is Excel 2003 Service Pack 2. Am I
looking at a BillyBug or some formating obscurity that I've overlooked?
