[mso] Excel: Selecting colors based on value?

I have a range where Column AA is a value 1 through 18 inclusive. Column AB
contains color names. Column AC contains a background of the color named
in Column AB.
Example:
1 Black
2 Brown
3 Orange
etc.....
17 Green
18 Red
I am -trying- to find a way that will allow me to a number in Column A, say
in cell A5 I have 3 for example, then in cell B5 the background will be
Orange. I tried conditional formatting but that doesn't seem to work here.
Thank you.
Robert
