I wrote a vlookup tutorial that covers this. You can read it here:
 http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/Pub0009/LPMArticle.asp?ID=446

Basically you need to nest it in an IF and ISNA formula and this article
tells you how to do it.

Subject: [mso] Excel Formula

I am using the formula below in a column of my spreadsheet

=LOOKUP(C7,$N$1:$BC$1,$N$4:$BC$4)

The formula does what I want when I have a value in C7, but when I have no
value in C7, I would like for the cell to remain blank but instead it has a
#N/A in the cell.

Do you know what I need to add to the formula to make it show as a blank
cell when I do not have a value in the cell it is looking up?

Thank you for any help you can offer. I think I have used "" in some way
before, but I can't get it to work today.

Jenny
