[mso] Excel DLL question

Hi guys, does anyone know the DLL that is used by Excel to provide the cell
shading patterns and fill function?
For some reason cell pattern shading and fill does not display, but it does
actually display during print preview and printing (using an existing file with
shading and when attempting to do shading on a new spreadsheet). Even the
border lines that should display on certain menu items don't show. I'm thinking
that a DLL is probably corrupt and want to check it out.
Failing that, I will attempt a reinstall to try to repair it
