Actually, that will give you 3of5 with no spaces...if you want the
spaces, adjust the formula to this:

=COUNTIF(A1:A8,">0")&" "& " of "&" "&COUNT(A1:A8)

Using:
=COUNTIF(A1:A8,">0") & " of " & COUNT(A1:A8)

Should work without error, and will display the results as "3 of 5". Not
sure why you'd be getting a '#value' error.
