[mso] Excel Count

I need to know how many cells in a series contain numbers greater than zero.
 
example:
 
0  12  17  0  49 = 3
Ideally, the result would look like this:  3 of 5  or even 3/5 
 
I tried the COUNT function but kept coming up with Value error.
