Actually, James...in Access 2002 and 2003, pivot tables are called pivot
tables....I actually DO use them, cuz I'm an old Excel gal and understand
pivot tables.,...you just open any table or query and go to the View
dropdown and choose Pivot Table.

Access definitely has Pivot Tables!  They call them Crosstab Queries.  Of
course if you want to learn how to do them, you can get a pretty good
understanding going through the Wizard a time or two and then it may not be
necessary any more.
