[mso] Excel (2000, 2003) Formatting Pivot Table Sheets

I have created Pivot tables and I would like them to retain their column
format (Format, Column, Autofit to width), yet every time I refresh the
tables, they jump back to their default format.

Could someone explain about formatting pivot tables, please?
