[mso] Re: Editing PowerPoint slides in Word

Joel,
Normally, I would just bang out the macro adaptation for you, but today
isn't a day I can do that. What I would recommend is that you post to the
PPT newsgroup, either via your favorite news server or via Google Groups,
and let them know what you need for the adaptations. The owner of the FAQ
frequents there and can help you more than I can.

For information on getting to the newsgroup, check out this entry from the
PPT FAQ:

Kathy, I tried the most complicated macro you offer [to copy all text in a
PowerPoint file to a text document] and it works great! There is only one
additional feature I'd love to have, and maybe one of the other two macros
does this--I'd like it to save the sequential slide number. Since I don't
have the time to learn how to program in Visual Basic or in any language,
hopefully you or someone else could do that.

Thanks! You and the author of that macro saved me many huge headaches!

Joel

Ok - then try the VBA routine listed in this PPT FAQ entry:
