In PPT, click File > Save As and choose RTF (Rich Text Format). Then open
that in Word and click View > Outline. Set the Tracking changes and go nuts.

Subject: [mso] Editing PowerPoint slides in Word
I have to edit Word documents that sometimes are accompanied by PowerPoint
slides. All my edits of the slides have to be in Word's comments feature. So
instead of editing the slides, I have to write things like "In the third
bullet point, insert "by" between "box" and "using." This is enormously time
consuming, but it is how they tell me to do it. What I want to try is to
copy all the text from the slides into a new Word document and then edit
them there using track changes. Is there a way for me to do this without
copying the text from each text box in each slide separately? In other
words, I'm hoping to be able to capture all the text from all the slides at
once and pasting them into a Word document. I also need to be able to tell
one slide form another in the Word document. Is this possible?
Joel
