I am not a frequent user of Excel - until recently. I am trying to help
with what should be some very simple bookkeeping for a new business. =
This
is a volunteer position and I don't really remember how it evolved that =
I
would be the one to do this... but I digress.

If someone has time, could you please look at the attached sheet I've
created for our daily balance report? I know there is an error in my
formulas somewhere, but I have struggled with it for quite a while and =
can't
seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. =20

I have this set up so all data is entered on=20
We have a key on the cash register for Pay Outs. We use this when we =
remove
cash from the drawer to give to a waitress when she has a tip on a =
credit
card purchase. Sometimes the PO on the cash register tape matches what =
we
have cleared on the credit card machine, sometimes it does not. =20

I have tried entering a fake scenario to test this spreadsheet, but =
still I
am baffled about what I might have wrong. If you have time to look at =
it, I
would be very grateful.

Thanks so much,
