[mso] Re: Difficulty printing font sizes in Word

Hi Linda,

All her family use aol. It says that the font is Ariel 10. Of course in email
it is reasonable to read.

I will give it a try with her Monday & I'll let you know.

Hey, how's the new car???

Thanks,
Jan

Try copying the text in the email, then pasting it into notepad to get
rid of all the formatting, then paste it into Word and enlarge the
font....this will probably make it printable. (I'm thinking the email
was sent to her in some weird html format that OE or Word can't
  interpret correctly)

Well here I am with another problem with one of my seniors situations.
I am not certain whether this is a 'Word' problem or I should be posting
  to the XP group.

Helen just bought an HP 3120 printer, her operating system is XP, & she
uses Outlook Express as her email program. She only uses her printer to
print the email her kids write her. So while in the email she goes to
file > print, but the results are extremely small...if there were a size
3 font that would be it.

So she copied it & pasted it into Word, she changed the font to size 24.
In the 'print setup' it appeared that the email covered her entire page
(as well it should have), but when she printed it, it only printed a
quarter of the page & was no larger than a size 10 font (Still difficult
  to read).

So is this an XP & HP compatibility situation? Or Word & HP & XP?
  Please offer some suggestions.

  Thanks,
  Jan
