It's to do with the way that Freelists handles some extended ascii
characters... Linda chased it down months ago, but there is not easy fix
for it...

They had this =3D20 problem on PC-Ductape and it took a frenzy of emails
before the irritation was finally nibbled to death.

I cannot remember the solution, I fear, but it will probably be in the
ductape archive.
