[mso] Re: Default save folder in Word 2007

There are two ways I can think of to click "Save" and go directly to the folder 
of your choice.

SOLUTION 1:
Change Word 2007's default file save location:
1. Click the Office (or Windows??) button
2. Select Advanced
3. In the General section, click File Locations
4. Select Documents in the File types list
5. Click Modify
6. Use the navigation controls to select the new location for your files
7. Click OK on each of the dialog boxes to close them
When you save a file, Word 2007 will automatically open the specified folder.

Solution 2:
Add your folder location to the My Places bar. My Places bar is the left panel 
of your Save As dialog box.
This method adds an extra click but the My Places shortcut is useful if you 
have just recently saved a file to another location other than your regular 
folder. You can instantly switch back to your regular save location.

To add a new shortcut to the My Places Bar in Word 2007:
1. Click the Microsoft Office Button and click Save As. 
2. Select the location that you want to create a shortcut to in the Save in 
list. 
3. Right click a blank space on the My Places Bar (beneath the existing 
shortcuts). 
4. Click Add folder name. 
Your new shortcut will now appear in the My Places Bar.
