Glenda,
These may be actual positions that their software looks for. You may want
to verify it, but if it is, you can simply add a field at the beginning and
end of your table that include these as a default. Format the remainder of
your data appropriately and export with those two fields set to 2 spaces
each.

I have a need to export data in fixed-width format from Access. The
person to whom I'm sending the data says I need something called a row
terminator where 0D=return and 0A=new line
This is Greek ( or maybe ASCII ; ) ?) to me.
I'd be grateful if someone could please 'splain.
