[mso] Re: Customize Mail Pane - Outlook03

Yes, I can agree with you on that Linda. I was puzzled as to why Scott
wanted to remove it actually:-). When I upgraded to Office 2003, I thought
that the Favorites was the best idea Microsoft had had with Outlook. My list
of folders is long and as you said it is great to be able to access the
regularly used ones quickly.

Actually Scot...I'm in the same boat as you....my folder list is HUGE and
requires lots of scrolling, so I too wanted to get rid of that Favorites
section, but when I realized I couldn't, I decided to actually use it....and
it does help....since removing it would only give me another half inch, it
really wouldn't let me see THAT many more folders, BUT now that I've moved
the folders that are most important to me into that Favorites section, I can
ALWAYS see them and only have to scroll to see the folders I don't use as
much. I actually like that feature now. Since, you have to live with it,
I'd recommend you actually use it and you may find it decreases the amount
of scrolling you have to do, since the folders you use most will always be
there, right on top.
