You can use Advanced Filter feature to filter out overlapping data in Column
A by selecting all data (including column headings) and then in the Advanced
Filter dialogbox, toggling on "unique records only" checkbox. All rows with
overlapping data in Column A becomes hidden. Then, copy the data to a new
sheet or column. You will get sequential rows of unique values only. Then
you can count this data.
          Column A Column B
 Row
1 India01 India
2 India02 India
3 India03 India
4 India04 India
5 USA01 USA
6 USA02 USA
7 USA03 USA
8 USA04 USA
9 USA05 USA
