[mso] Re: Copying Word text that has been edited in Revision Mode

Nope, sorry....I've never copied track changes docs like you are doing, so
I've never had a need to do what you are trying to do, so I don't even know
if it's possible or not. Hopefully someone else in here can help you more.

Good luck.

Subject: [mso] Re: Copying Word text that has been edited in Revision Mode

Linda,

I actually am doing that as a workaround, but the reason NOT to is not one I
understand. The original doc was created with a special template full of
macros that belongs to my client. They released a new version of that tool
and we ended up with a couple of things like bullets not working properly
due to version incompatibility. The client provided me with a special
repair template that fixes the problems. Once I run the repair utility
template I have to then take all the content that has been corrected and put
it back in a doc that has the original template rather than the repair
template. I asked the client if I couldn't just apply the correct template
to the fixed doc to replace the repair template and they said they thought
it would probably work, but were leery of possible unanticipated problems
doing so. My way actually seems to work, but if I could copy as they want
me to instead I would like to. But I need to keep the revision mode
markings and formatting.

Whew! Hope that answers your question...and if so, got any help for me?

Diane
