Thanks, It works great.  And the opposite works for the conversion in the
opposite direction.

A1*24, At least that is what I came up with and seems to work, let me know
if I am wrong.

Donald,

Question 2 is relatively easy.  Keep your data in one column, in the second
column change the format to time and enter the formula:

=A1/24

This is assuming that your original value is in A1 of course.  This will
give you the conversion.

If you want to put it into a macro or something just remember that in time,
1 represents one day.  So dividing by 24 gives your the # of hours.
