[mso] Re: Convert ALL from Excel to Access? Possible? Excel 2000

Access doesn't support formulas in a table. You either need the use a
query or some code to use a formula and - as you allude - there is not
always direct compatability between functions in Excel and in Access.

Subject: [mso] Convert ALL from Excel to Access? Possible? Excel 2000

Given a single Excel worksheet workbook containing ten drop downs, 1,558
rows deep, six macros to sort six different ways, formulas involving
BEFORE year 1900 dates, can this safely be converted to Access? That is,
the formulas (which I suspect are Excel specific) also convert to
Access?

I tried, but lost my ability to search for pre 1900 dates. Yes, I know
Excel & Access don't like pre-1900 dates but I have to work with them.

If it should convert all right, then what am I doing wrong to mess up
the formulas?

Thank you.

Robert
