[mso] Re: Combine 2 ppt presentations

under file - page setup, you can choose a different slide number to start. i
cannot see any way of restarting numbering partway thru.

Subject: [mso] Combine 2 ppt presentations
Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2007 22:46:13 -0600

Hello,

I am just a newbie, please let me know if I do not follow the group
procedures or rules.

Please help me regarding below issue.

I am using PowerPoint 2003.
I would like to combine 2 presentations together for 2 different presenters.
Each presentation has its own slides numbered.
When using "Arrange all", and after pasting and selecting "keep source
formatting", I found that the slide numbers will increment from the 1st
presentation. Please correct me if I am wrong, I think it follows the 1st
presentation master.

As for an example I have 2 ppt presentations from 2 presenters; the 1st
presenter has 5 slides for his/her presentation; and the 2nd presenter has
10 slides. When I combine these 2 presentations together, I would like to
have 1st presentation started with slide 1 thru 5 and have the 2nd
presentation started with slide 1 thru 10, instead of slide 6 thru 15.
How can I accomplish this task? Please help me. Thanks.

Bo Ekhoul
