This sound like the conversion into word is creating "NonBreaking Spaces"
also known as a "Hard Space", which are non printing characters inserted in
Word by using the Control+Shift+Spacebar used to ensure that combinations of
words are not split across separate lines when adjacent to the right margin.
If they are, you can use the Edit - 'Replace' or 'Find' - More - Special -
NonBreaking Space which insert a ^S in the find area.

Subject: [mso] Cleaning Word2000 documents
Often when I copy the text from an email or web page, then paste same to
Word2000, bubbles similar to the temperature degree symbol appear randomly
between words and sometimes doubling up between sentences. Attempting to do
a find and replace has been unsuccessful. Any suggestions?
