The company I am working for currently has about 35 Mail Merge forms. We = are in the process of updating one of our systems and will soon have = about 300. Here is the problem. The forms are developed with an ODBC = connection pointing to the SQL Server in the test environment. When the = forms are released to production the ODBC connection needs to be changed = to point to the Production SQL Server. Is there a way to change the ODBC = connection without going into all the forms and changing or a better way = to develop the forms to make this dynamic? We have tried to change the = ODBC connection information in the ODBC administrator but it appears = that Word stores the ODBC connection information in the word document = and does not verify it when the mail merge is executed. =20 Thanks, Bill ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
