[mso] Re: Cell Shading

Hold down your control key and select the non adjacent cells you want to
shade, then select shading color.

I have a regular Word table in a .doc that is comprised of rotating group
#'s. So row one cell A1 is #1, B1 is #2 and across thru #8 (so 8 columns).
Row two cell A2 is #8, B2 is #1, C2 is #2 and across thru #7 and each row
continues to rotate the numbers. So diagonally you will have the same
number.

I want to shade all #1's light yellow, #2's light blue, etc.

Is there a way to non-contiguously select cells and then shade? So I can
select the entire diagonal group of the same number and shade one color?

Is this better done in an Excel table?
