[mso] Re: Cannot print Background in Word 2000

I have a problem with Word also, I purchased a computer with XP and sold my
other computer. Although I use it frequently I dont use the word program
often enough to notice at what point this problem started. My teenage son
changed the desktop theme and background and I never gave notice till I
started noticing that my internet colors were different on MSN and EBAY and
such and then when I tried to do a Birthday card in Word, suddenly I can not
see any colors. I can change the font color but it will not let me set a
background color, what settings are messed up here? He does not know what
he did and I can not figure it out.

You can't print backgrounds from Word...they are only for onscreen
viewing...if you want a picture to print as a background in Word, you need
to go to Header/Footer view in Word and use Insert>Picture>From File then
drag the picture to fill the whole screen....just like you do it if you want
a watermark.

If you don't understand how to make a watermark, read this:

Subject: [mso] Cannot print Background in Word 2000

I have created a X-mass letterhead with Snowflakes as my background added
some other graphics, and everything shows up very nice on the screen, when I
print the document the graphics shows but not the snowflakes
When it shows all graphics on the screen, it is on Web Layout, when I print
it slips into Print Layout in that mode it shows no Background graphics
Any suggestions

Knud
