Mac. I think he already knows that. I believe what he and Joel are saying
is that Outlook continues to move mail to the Junk Email folder for them
even when they turn it off and have nothing in their blocked senders lists.
So, I think, what he's trying to determine is where are these "hidden"
blocked senders so he can remove them also so Outlook's Junk thing turns off
completely.
But I haven't a clue .... And I really don't see what the big deal is about.
Have you looked at the mail it is sending to your Junk Email folder....has
there ever been mail there that you do, in fact, want to receive? Like I
said, mine is probably mixed in with what SpamBayes collects and since I put
it all in the same Junk Email folder, I can't distinguish which is moved
there by Outlook and which is moved there by SpamBayes ... But I never find
any mail there that I want to keep anyway....and I do monitor it closely
becuz I also want to be in charge of which mail I do not receive. And, I've
got a big enough computer that I don't feel the need to waste my time
worrying about how much resources this is using....Outlook works fine here,
so if it ain't broke, I'm not worried about fixing it....but, obviously if
he feels this is significantly slowing down his machine, then it's an issue
for him.

All outgoing mail checked by Norton AV. If you received a "bug" that looked
like it came from me, it did NOT!

The Block Senders list in Outlook 2003 is here:
Tools/Options/Junk Email
You can turn off the filtering here, edit the Block Senders list, etc.

That was my point. It's not simply a matter of which directory I am using, I
would like to know that
a) Only one program is using resources to scan every email
&
b) I can control what it does.
I am not comfortable with a program using its choices to decide what mail I
am allowed to see or not. I am hoping to find a way to turn it off. I
presume this will also speed up email processing.
