Sounds like your professor is confusing Excel with Word.  That is how Shrink
to Fit works in Word, but NOT in Excel.

Thank you, Ray. My professor actually told us that "Shrink to fit" was when
we had a portion of a page, say four and a tenth of a fifth page, shrink it
at print time so that it is all on four pages neatly. He explained it was a
paper saver feature. Consequently, I never tried it. -Robert
