Yahoo lets you download or export your membership list as a csv file (comma
separated values). Once you have the csv file, just open it in Excel. done

Subject: [mso] Any Excel experts out there ?
Hey there,
I've used Excel for several years, but have never had occasion to
try to use the import/export function until now.
I moderate some Yahoo groups and I'd like to be able to import the
membership data into an Excel spreadsheet. The data is in html
format and in columns with the Yahoo I.D., the yahoo email address,
date joined, and so forth.
I'm using an older version of Excel from Office 97 and am running it
in Windows XP Home Edition.
If I have the membership page of the group name ... let's say its
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/lindasgroup/members
then how do I go about importing (or exporting) that data to my
Excel spreadsheet?
What I'd like to do, ideally, is just to import the data into my
Excel spreadsheet from the website page on the net. Can this be
done? I've looked at the help section for Excel, but it's no use. <sigh>
Thanks for the help, guys.
Best regards,
Linda
