[mso] Re: Alphabetical order

Put them into a table first. Select them all, then from the Table menu,
select Convert - Text to table. Again from the Table menu, select Sort
and you'll get a dialogue with options. After sorting, you can convert
the table back to text again, if you want to.

I have an iMac. OS 10.3.8 and use Microsoft Office:mac 2004 Student and 
Teacher Edition.

If I have a nominal role of some 60 plus names, how to I arrange then 
in alphabetical order ?

I had no trouble in using AppleWorks, but seem unable to use this basic 
method.
Edit menu > Sort selected Paragraphs > Select the Sorting Order > Sort.

The information supplied from my new programme  seems to make no 
reference to this problem.
