Glenda when you say "then paste as text", where are you talking about
pasting from? It does not work if you past from excel file. The zero are not
there. You can not paste from a report in Access that I know of. I can not
paste from a query in Access I have iif statements in Access.
Thanks
Karen

There may be a better way (actually, I hope there is) but in the
meantime, this is what I do. Open an Excel spreadsheet and format the
whole thing as text then paste as text the data you want to send. If
it's something I need to do more than once, I format the worksheet
however I need it then delete the data and save the sheet as a template.
The next time I want to do this particular list, I past my data into new
sheet based on the template.

I need to send a report to someone in excel. I see one problem with it.
One of the fields is set to text, with 5 numbers ex 14317, 06904,
00128. Some of our code numbers start with zero "0" as part of the
number. I need the zero's to show up on the excel worksheet. How can
this be done?

Thanks

Karen
