[mso] Access question - field properties and multiple lines - also OT mails not getting through

I said I would try to use Access one day ...

So I have started, and I used the Wizard to build a contacts database,
and it looks ok-ish but when I want to enter data into the default
address field (which looks like it's got space for more than one line of
data, it won't let me put in a line break other than by Ctrl-Enter.
That's all very well for me, but my rookie deputy will struggle with
that idea, I'm sure of that.

Is this the *only* way to insert a line break into a field box?

I'll live with the situation if the answer is a straight *yes*!

BTW Linda - the list was totally quiet for much of yesterday so far as I
was aware. I gather from IT contacts this side of the pond that there
are a great many ISPs (including BT who are the #1 domestic telecomms
provider in the UK) who seem to have had major server meltdown problems
because of the various worms and viruses floating around. The problem
is getting bigger by the day. I too am sick of deleting Swen and his
cousins from my mailbox! Especially when for some reason Outlook
doesn't put my rules into operation when it first starts up each day, it
waits for later send&receives to play the game!
