Hi Access Masters.
I want to slick-tify a simple process...just because I know it can be
done and I want to know how.

Currently the DB is one query based on two ODBC tables with a 1-1 join.

We have a form on which is a button that when clicked produces the query
grid.

The ODBC tables and the query itself are hidden.

That's it. Simple.

Isn't there a way to have an event that links the tables and produces
the result without having to have the tables physically in the DB so all
the user would have to do is fill in date and user parameters and BAM -
results? Could I also use a Pass-Thru to handle the log-in? Could the
user ID in the Pass-Thru also be used to handle the user parameter so
the user only enters his or her user ID once?

Any suggestions welcome. /g
