Hello all Can you help me, i'm in a bit of a pickle with my Access reports. I am creating an access report for a letter. The contact name for the letter consists of one field, which is in caps, e.g. "FRED BLOGGS", what I want to do is remove the capitalisation, except for the first letter and have just the first name, e.g. "Fred". I can't split or alter the field in the table as it comes from an external database. I know this should be easy, but I can't seem to get it work, no matter how many different Left, Right and strConv thingys I try! Any of you experts out there help me?
