Glenda,
If you choose to use Sorting and grouping you can create a query that has
everything you want in it. Put the Expenses in Details and your information
you only want once in one of the headers. That way you can get your
individual with their Costs in the header and the Detailed Expenses
attributed to them.

Sorting & Grouping? I can give that a shot. Would the field containing
the 20 records per person go in Detail or elsewhere?
In the meantime, I'm working with a sub-report based upon a table. I
don't want to see the ID field that establishes the link but can't
figure out how to hide it. Should I just color it white like my
background or is there a more sophisticated method?

Glenda,
A sub-report would do the job or you can have fun with the Sorting and
Grouping Options. Either way you should get exactly what you need. The
Sub-report would probably be the best option, but Sorting and Grouping
options will get you where you want to go if you combine everything in
one query. Its simply a matter of where you put everything.

OK, why not have a subreport that details the expenses? It's kind of
like a subform, you can link by ID. Then GroupBy ID in the report.

I can get the totals from Costs & Expenses and the various calculations
on one row in a query, but in my report, I need the list of expenses as
well. That's why I was thinking Unbound Control but for some reason
it's not working for me. /g
