Judith--
Simply make sure that the combo box's Row Source Type is set to
'Table/Query', and that it's Row Source is set to a query sorted in any
manner you wish. If you don't explicitly do that, the box will be
sorted --
as Glenda wrote -- on the first indexed field in the underlying table.

Subject: [mso] Access Combo Box Not Sorting
Hi all!
In Access (02 XP) I have a table of a list of themes. When I sort this it
does what I want but when this is a combo box it is not sorted. How can I
make it show as sorted. Thanks.
Judith
