[mso] Re: Access 2007

Ask me that in a month or so. Right now nothing is yelling at me,
outside of my ram ;-)

For the first time I do like Outlook over OE and have actually been
using it for more than one day. It is learning the things I use most and
putting them on the front menu. Plus the font changing ability (where it
shows you the whole page being changed to the font you scroll over, in Word
2007 is great!). Out side of that, nothing deep tech yet.

This is EXACTLY why I don't like 2007 .... And also exactly why I have to
write all-new ebooks and online classes to teach it ... Otherwise,
experienced users are wasting half their lives looking for something. Other
than the new GUI, is there anything about any of the Office 2007 programs
that you can't live without?

        Access 2007 GUI ... Scream!

Seriously, of all the office apps to leave the file/edit etc. menu
in, it should have been Access, but no, let's leave that in Publisher (like
it's need more there or something????).

They didn't lie at the launch event here in Indy Tues. When they
said, if you don't know Office you'll be fine, if you've used it for years,
you've got a learning curve in front of you. Little did I know that
"dummying down" would ever be termed a "learning curve"....sigh!
