Yes I saw the backup option but I'd really like to be able to do it from
VBA... Any ideas?

Is the date enough for you? When I'm doing that I normally inlude the time
as well. Incrementing a number obviates that though because the highest
number is always the last updated and there's always the possibility of
sorting the folder on date/time.
