Not sure about suppressing a second line, but another possibility ...
IIRC, Access report fields have an "auto grow" option. If you consolidate
the phone numbers into a single field and then put auto grow on to it, it
might give you the results you're looking for.
You might also be able to use this to narrow down some of your columns and
increase your point size. (After all, 8 point ain't much use to those of us
with aging eyes.) Basically, make the columns the right width to hold most
people's information, and let people with longer information wrap
vertically. This is particularly useful for names and addresses, but can
also be useful for items like skills lists.
