Thanks, James. Right now I'm just launching from the report menu, one
report contains the five sub reports. They are not related to each other
in the report, though they all ultimately pull data from the same table.
I'm not quite with you yet on the form, how would I set this up? Thanks.

Cathy,
How are you launching the report? The simplest solution would be to create
a small form so that you could input the beginning and ending dates, then
simply click a button and you could refer to the form's fields as your
parameters.

Subject: [mso] Access 2002: Main/Sub Reports Parameters
Re-sending below request. My email had some errors earlier and I haven't
received any mail for several hours, and this is not showing up on my end
as having been successfully sent, so am re-submitting, thanks.
____________________________________________________________________________
I have a main report that contains 5 sub reports, each one reporting
different criteria from the same table. I can set a parameter in each sub
report query to look at the dates so I can pull the report by Quarter,
however, this would cause 5 question/answer pop ups when the report is run,
one for each sub report embedded in the main one. I would like to be able
to run the main report and answer the date to/from question once, then have
the data be correct for all 5 sections of the report. I thought I'd seen
this type of problem here before, however I'm not finding it so am starting
over. Also, would like the dates I enter in the parameter pop up to show
on the report so Quarter queried will be known.
My report has no data source, the data comes from the queries in each sub
report, 5 total. All are looking various detailed breakouts of the same
table. Hope I am asking correctly, please let me know further details
needed. Thank you, Cathy
