Version 6 of the Firebox IOS is suppose to fix the problem with ESMTP mail.
As far as the VPN/Citrix goes... The customer has abandoned the Watchguard
VPN (Their SOHOs are junk) and switched to using CSG for Citrix.

Joe,
We also utilize Watchguard for our firewall and have the ESMTP enabled
and, as you might suspect, have been having an issued with bounced
outgoing email. Did you disable the SMTP service in your Watchguard? I
was considering adding the Binarymime header to the
"allowed" list for Outgoing in the SMTP setup since this seems to be the
piece that is causing the problem on the remote end.
On a separate note, do you participate in any Watchguard related
mail-lists that you would recommend? We have a Citrix Metaframe XP farm
that communicates with remote sites via the Watchguard VPN feature and
I'm looking for help on several issues I've run into related to the
Citrix traffic.
Thanks...

Nevermind... Found the issue to be with the way Exchange 2000 and
Watchguard
interact. Bad Watchguard, bad.

There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's
email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<hostname.domain.com #5.5.0 smtp;500 Syntax error, command
