Front-end only.. You can use Standard for the back-end.

Yes... Also, Microsoft wants to add salt to that wound.. You'll need the
Enterprise edition for  the front end server.

For exchange 2k do you have to have a server license for a separate OWA
server?  Right now I've got an exchange 5.5 server with a separate OWA web
server in the DMZ.  With Exchange 2k do I need to purchase two server
licenses?
