Obituary
Morley (Mort) Daniel Schram
Saturday, March 18th, God took too early our Husband, Father, Grandfather and
Brother.
Born August 17, 1952 to Richard and Phyllis Schram.
He attended Michigan School for the Blind where he met his wife, Pat Taylor and
earned
a State Title in wrestling also joining the basketball and track teams.
Graduated
from Lansing Everett in 1972. He began working for General Motors in 1977,
joined
local 652 and retired after 30 years in 2007. He enjoyed coaching Little League,
his "Sure Shots" Bowling League, Tuesdays at Westgate and Fridays and Saturday
family
get togethers.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Richard; mother; Phyllis; sisters,
Shirley
Schram, and Fran Briggs.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Pat Schram; sons Morley Daniel II (Wendy),
and
Chad Edward; daughter, Jamie Lynn; grandson, Carter; sister, Joan (Ray) Wilson;
and
several nieces and nephews.
Pat and family will receive guests Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to
7:00
p.m. A Service Celebrating Mort's Life will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at
11:00
a.m. Both the service and visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral
Homes
East Lansing Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave.
