Well FANS is the place to be this year. Asesome weather. Got to see many old
friends already. Star studded field. Google search michael henze from wisc.
And Joe fejes from georgia in the 24 hour race and patrick russell from duluth
minn and john storkamp from mn in the 12 hour. More than 40 runners have a goal
of 100 miles or more. Henze holds the course record at 147 and Fejes who won
the 72 hour across the years has a goal of 145....wow. 6 ye ars ago when
patrick russell ran his first 100k winning the edmund fitz race in under 7
hours. He passed me at about mile 30 after I had a 2 hour headstart. He said -
way to go - now pick it up - hahahaha. Funny. Storkamp wants the course record
at. Just over 80 miles in 12 hours. Every star here except mark hellenthal. I
get to see a classic tomorrow thru Sunday including a great womens field in the
24 hour version. Wish I could run. I will be back.

I have been out of it for a while,(no jokes). Are there any runs planned for
this Sunday? I will be busy Saturday morning helping at the WOOF down on the
Plaza, but am up for a run Sunday. Everyone have a great weekend and help Ken
and Deb count the laps at the 24 hour race. Thanks Steve O
