Rob, just called and he was very happy with his 3:00.55 Portland marathon
especially in light of the IT band issues he has been having and no long
runs for the past few weeks...weather was superb, he hung with the 3:00 pace
group until he has had some calf cramping at mile 20 and ran a very slow
mile there (the race tracker showed he had a slow mile there - so that was
legit). But he got it back together and nearly caught up with the pace group!
He finished strong...
WAY TO GO SPEEDY ROB!!
Terri hit the 21.1 mile mark at just over 4 hours and is looking to be
close to finishing in 5 hours. Go Terri!
