Dan Munsell and I had a similar outing. As most of you know, I've been sick
FOREVER, and this was the first ½ I've done in over a year that didn't hurt me.
Dan and I had a positive start and hung with the 2:00 pace group up to about
the 8 mile mark. We took it slow and easy after that but we had a great time
and I'm optimistic that with more consistent training I may actually turn into
a runner again. Yee Haw!!! Next up - the Desert Classic ½ on the 29th.

Congrats to Brooke...you earned it.
Now for the other side of the story....Mark and I did the 1/2.....due to
vacation/sick/holidays etc...our training (that T word) was lacking. Yes we
finished...yes we survived BUT we need to step up the game....all in all we had
fun.
