How come everybody in the picture is nicknamed "Lance"? The Barbie bottle and
basket are great accessories. If you really want to look like the pros, attach
a playing card with a clothespin to your front wheel.

OK you guys - let me just set a few things straight before this goes
viral.
1) I am really upset that my Barbie bottle on the seat post doesn't show.
Thankfully the handle bar "flair" and my really cool basket do show.
Global Bikes said these add-ons would help speed me up. If for no other
reason, it will make me pedal faster to stay ahead of the gangs wanting to
steal
my Barbie basket.
2) Who better to promote Barbie than Ken? (Ken S could have helped a
little too but held out for promoting Pearl Izumi)
3) Dave and I stopped a couple of times to help Simon with his bike and
got left like carnage on the road.
4) When I got back to home base, Chris Bray, young enough
to be my son was sleeping in the car. This is the same 2:50 marathon Chris
Bray, ex pro Dou-Athlete. So here is me in my Barbie-Rod, riding 16 miles
further than I have ever ridden (54 miles), helping others,
just coming back from a torn tendon, last one to finish
(Dave with me) after getting rained on and nearly hit by lightning and again,
old enough to be Chris' father and I am walking around after
the ride and Chris is sleeping in the car??? What is SERIOUSLY WRONG
WITH THAT PICTURE??
5) This was a really pretty ride with some good friends on a beautiful day
in the mountains. Who is luckier than me?? NOBODY. Seriously
NOBODY! Thanks to Jim for setting up a great day in the
high country!!
Ken out.
PS: Running is still harder...snicker..

[mountainmilers] Mormon Lake group
Thanks for all
that came along to Mormon Lake (11 of us), weather was nice except right at
the end. Monsoons came in and gave us nice head wind up the hill right
before our cars….
Ken rode
Barbie’s bike!!
