J O I N M E
A great Pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
04-15 November 2007
Now is a great time to sign up! The brochure and full information, including
hotel links, is on-line.
We'll renew our Baptismal Promises at the Jordan River, where Jesus was
Baptized by John. We'll renew our marriage vows and pray for any deceased
husbands and wives at Cana in Galilee where Jesus attended a wedding with
his Mother and turned water into wine. We'll take a boat ride on the Sea of
Galilee. We'll even have a chance to visit Masada and to swim in the Dead
Sea. We'll visit the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem too, and see the Dead Sea
Scrolls. You'll never read Scripture in the same way after this wonderful
Pilgrimage! Follow the link from: www.frpat.com

"When you are offering your gift at the altar, if you remember that your
brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there before
the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother or sister, and then
come and offer your gift." ~Matthew 5:23-24

When we let personal piques and resentments interfere with what we know to
be our proper conduct, we are on the wrong track and can undo all we have
built up by doing the right thing. We need never let personal piques
interfere with living the way we know God wants us to live. When we have no
clear guidance from God, we can go forward quietly along the path of duty.
The attitude of quiet faith can receive its reward as surely as acting upon
God's direct guidance. We need not weaken our spiritual power by letting
personal piques upset us.

I pray that I may not let myself become too upset. I pray that I may go
quietly along the path I have chosen.

Andrea asks prayers for a young mother whose unborn child has tested
positive for Down's Syndrome. A mother requests prayers for her daughter who
will be writing her nursing boards on Tues. Sister Judeanne asks prayers for
her mother, that she will be able to have her surgery soon.

Marilyn asks prayers for a special intention.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home. We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!

May God Bless you and those you love, and keep you safe!

Father Pat
