We'll renew our Baptismal Promises at the Jordan River, where Jesus was
Baptized by John.  We'll renew our marriage vows and pray for any deceased
husbands and wives at Cana in Galilee where Jesus attended a wedding with
his Mother and turned water into wine.  We'll take a boat ride on the Sea of
Galilee.  We'll even have a chance to visit Masada and to swim in the Dead
Sea. We'll visit the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem too, and see the Dead Sea
Scrolls.  You'll never read Scripture in the same way after this wonderful

"Be still and know that I am God."  ~Psalm 46:10

.=:  M E D I T A T I O N   F O R   T H E   D A Y  :=.

We can learn daily the lesson of trust and calm in the midst of the storms
of life.  Whatever of sorrow or difficulty the day may bring, God's command
to us is the same.  Be grateful, humble, calm and loving to all people.  We
can leave each soul the better for having met us or heard us.  For all kinds
of people, this can be our attitude: a loving desire to help and an
infections spirit of calmness and trust in God We can have the answer to
loneliness and fear, which is calm faith in the goodness and purpose of the
universe, and of God's love for us.

I pray that I may be calm in the midst of storms.  I pray that I may pass on
this calmness to others who are lonely and full of fear.

Nancy from PA requests prayers for a retired priest living in residence at
her parish who will celebrate his 80th birthday on Tuesday, that God will
bless him and grant him a recovery from his health issues, if it be His
Will. JaniceMarie asks prayers for her three Grandsons who are in need of
healing and protection. Sandra requests prayers for her grandson who has a
staph infection.

Alex Stevan asks prayers for a special intention. Sophie asks prayers for an
esophagus test to be normal.

We pray for unity in our country and that we may build a Culture of Life. We
pray for the safety of our troops, their safe return and their families at
home.  We pray for a deep and profound respect for life, and for the courage
and willingness to stand up for life. We pray for one another, for those who
have asked our prayers and for those who need our prayers the most. Have a
good day!
